Welcome to Betty's Bobbin Box!  We have some exciting events coming up this month. Maddie Bushman, Janome Educator, Janome America will be here teaching classes the week of March 23-25th. March 23:  Hands-On Serger Projects - Kit Provided - $20.00

9:00 am-12:00pm  - 1200D Janome Five thread Serger- We will make a wallet totally on the 5 thread serger, using all the decorative stitches on this Wonderful serger!

1:00pm - 4:00pm  -  634D, 644D,1110 Janome Serger ( 4 thread )   Square Dance Purse - Created by Maddie Bushman.. Learn new and fun techniques on your serger.

March 24:   Artistic Sewing Suite - Demo and Lecture Two lectures available

9:00 am - 12:00 Noon

6:00 pm to 9:00 pm

March 25:  Paradise Garden Free-Motion Satin Stitching  $20.00 Kit provided

6:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Another one of Maddie Bushman's creations.  She's a Janome Educator that really knows her stuff and I'll bet you haven't tried this yet! Using gold metallic thread to outline with a free motion satin stitch the flowers and butterflies appear to be three dImensional.

March 26  10:00 am to 12:00 noon  Pina colada Coaster using the wonderful

Memory Craft 11000  Special Edition.  Holiday parties just wouldn't be the same without these charming Pina Colada Coasters to keep the moisture off your furniture.

This is a fun way to explore and experience some of the feautures of this wonderful machine.  Make a set for yourself or as a gift for someone special.

  • I love the store and the people there. I've had so many fun and interesting hours there and I've learned so much. Although, I am too tied up to take lessons right now, I will be back and I can't wait. This is a way I can stay in touch until I can get back.

  • Was in the store for the first time today. Just moved here from California and really needed to just be in the store with fabric... I miss my quilting group and friends so much. The store made me feel that there may be hope for Odessa and me yet! The girls were friendly, helpfull and kind I can't wait to start in a quilting class.
