Come by and let us thank you, our faithful customers, for making it possible for us to be celebrating 30 years in this wonderful business, Betty's Bobbin Box. Our mother, Betty, started this business all by herself. I soon came in with her. Then, after his retirement from band directing, Walter joined us to become an outstanding service technician. Now Kris, his wife, has joined us as the most capable teacher ever (she taught school for many years), as well as their daughter, Audra, who has taken over all our "social media" work and is our new "IT" person. Although we are pretty "family oriented" we wouldn't be successful without two wonderful people who work with us daily. That would be Sue Huvall who came to me with a Master's degree in the sewing field and Millie Osborn who works part time doing "whatever needs to be done" and teaches many classes. These two ladies are an absolute pleasure to work with every day.
I would like to thank all of these people with an "Open House" for doing such a tremendous job every day. Please drop by to have food, drink, and a really fun day. There will demonstrations going on through the day on several different techniques. Our special friends, Jim and Diane Stutsman will also be here to talk about their new APP, Threadbook. More information will be coming soon in regard to what time you can hear Jim and the other demonstrations on other notions, etc.
