Machines

Betty's has a few MC10000/01's that have been traded-in for the new MC11000.  These are exceptionally nice and clean machines.  In fact, you will receive a full 1-year warranty plus instruction on how to use the machine to it's full capacity.

These are greatly reduced and will be sold on a first come, first served basis.

From another Generation:

We have a Singer Featherweight (model 221) for sale.  It's in excellent condition including extra feet and carrying case.  It has been truly previously loved!  Come see or call for details.

          And speaking of quilting.........

One of the most exciting things that is new to our shop  is the Grace Quilting Machine.  It is so easy to use that every machine quilter will want one! We are happy to demonstrate this wonderful new piece of equipment any time you would like to come into our shop and see it. It is the most convenient and affordable machine we have seen for the home quilter. Come by to see it!

We have lots of classes coming up as well as some of the old ones back again.  Check the class listing for your respective city. Check often as we will be changing the classes constantly, but there will always be at least one month of classes listed for you.  We feel this will be a much more productive way to communicate with you than sending a newsletter every quarter through the mail.  We can keep everything much more up-to-date.  Please let us know if we can do things differently or better in order to serve you.

Tip of the Month Stabilizers -Stabilizers are used behind fabric to keep it from puckering when you embroider.  Typing paper is not stabilizer!  Coffee filters are not stabilizers! Toilet seat covers are not stabilizers!  The trouble with paper is that it dulls machine needles faster than tear-away stabilizers do.  It's also harder to remove from the  back of the embroidery. And the worst of all, the particles get down in your embroidery machine! There are dozens of different types of stabilizers on the market today.  There are tear-always, cut always, iron-on, water-soluble, and heat dissolving, among others.  It depends on what you are embroidering which stabilizer will do the best job for you.  There is a stabilizer for everything!
